a few updates from the lives of flip flops... boat shoes... and lilly bean from the past week...
-we have officially moved into our new house
-lilly bean has learned to climb the stairs!
-i have a new love for gardening
-building a closet is not easy but can be done
-wedding presents sometimes get broken, its ok to cry and make a plan for getting a replacement
-new stainless steel appliances encourage cooking... a regular sized sink and sky lights help too!
-a large chocolate lab named Mambo could potentially be lilly bean's new best friend
-helpful hints for moving:
when the movers offer to pack a box, say "no thank you"
when the movers start wrapping everything in plastic wrap, ask "is that necessary?"
when they start taping every bin and placing extra tape on boxes, read the fine print about "extra supply charges"
*these hints could save you big time!

happy birthday lilly bean!
what fun we had celebrating your birthday lilly bean! a few presents to open, a pretend candle on a cupcake to chew, and a yummmmy cake to lick and eat!
Two favorite puppy spots helped us create such a lovely birthday party for lilly bean... Come. Sit. Stay. and Buzzy's Bow Wow Meow !!! We were very pleased with a few of the products including the birthday cake... a frozen cake that is yogurt based! Lilly loved it SO much that Derek and I actually got concerned that it was not meant for puppies... but after reading the box again...we discovered it was meant for her!

a packing... moving... painting week!
well the countdown is on... 6 days until we officially move into our new home!

and... in the midst of all of the packing, painting, cleaning and organizing... we celebrated Lilly Bean's first birthday! Don't worry I will post later about the details!
